Athletes eligible for this competition: CCP 6 & 7 athletes ages 11-16 as of February 14, 2024.

Cost:
$150plus a 4% service fee for a total cost of $156
Late registration, should they be accepted, will incur $50 late fee from Pegasus plus any late fees from the host.

Team Bodysuits
Gym gear will be making the bodysuits for all zones for Alberta Winter Games. There will be sizers for the
athletes to try on during the parent meeting following each session.
Schedule
The competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday. A schedule will be sent on Monday, November
20th after registration numbers have been more confirmed.
Refunds:
Entry Fee Refund requests must be completed on the Entry Fee Refund Form (Appendix 9) and submitted to
the A.G.F. Women’s Program Manager (c/o the A.G.F. office) Via your club representative.
• If Entry Fee refund form is submitted 9 business days prior to the event, a full refund will be issued
minus a $25 administration fee
• If Entry Fee refund form is between 5 and 8 days prior to the event, a full refund will be given minus
a $35 late administration fee
• If Entry Fee refund form is submitted less than 5 business days prior to the event, no refund will be
issued
• Exception: Full entry fee will be refunded for medical reasons at any time prior to the start of the
event- a medical note may be required upon request.
Eligibility:
CCP 6 & 7 athletes ages 11-16 as of February 14, 2024.
Trials is an open age competition. If an athlete makes the team, Alberta Winter Games WILL BE a declaration meet.
Athletes who compete at this sanctioned competition may move up one level within their competitive category at
subsequent sanctioned competitions but cannot move down or to Xcel for the remainder of the competitive season.
Exception: When a zone does not meet the composition requirement for CCP 7, they may fill with athletes from CCP
6. That athlete may then return to CCP 6 for the remainder of the season, as long as they declared this when
registering for the Trials.
Medical Petitions will not be accepted. Refer to handbook for exceptions.
Qualifications:
Athletes: The top 4 CCP 6 and the top 4 CCP 7 athletes from each zone will qualify to the Alberta Winter Games. In
the event that a zone cannot fill all of the CCP 7 team, they can assign a CCP 6 athlete to fill the spot. This must be
declared to the WAG Program Manager by the late registration deadline. This rule does not apply to the CCP 6
team.
Coaches: 3 coaches per zone. One team coach will be named for the CCP 6 team and one for the CCP 7 team using
the points system in the handbook. The 3rd coach will be named by the zone total points (CCP 6 and 7 team
combined). Minimum of 2 female coaches per zone.
