HP Stream at Pegasus

We are proud to offer a high-performance environment grounded in our philosophy of quality gymnastics in a family-friendly environment, where athletes can pursue ambitious goals with full support. At Pegasus, we believe in fostering success at all levels, even at the highest tier of competition, by providing a healthy level of challenge, a focus on holistic athlete development, and a strong sense of Pegasus pride.

Competitive High-Performance Gymnastics

At Pegasus Gymnastics, our High-Performance (HP) Program represents the highest level of competitive training for athletes pursuing excellence on the provincial, national, and international stage. This elite pathway follows the standards and structure set out by Gymnastics Canada’s High Performance Program, including HP Developmental GEMS, Youth, Novice, and National Stream Jr and Sr levels.

Program Goals:

  • Develop world-class athletes in alignment with Gymnastics Canada’s Elite System
  • Support each athlete’s technical, physical, and psychological preparation
  • Cultivate resilience, leadership, and discipline in a positive training culture
  • Foster long-term success while preserving the athlete’s love for the sport

Program Fetures:

  • For athletes selected through elite testing and talent identification
  • Includes levels such as: GEMS, Youth Beginner and Advanced, HP Novice, Junior & Senior
  • Training commitment of 20–30+ hours per week
  • Comprehensive preparation across Vault, Uneven Bars, Beam, Floor, Physical Prep, Trampoline, and Physical preparation
  • Integrated support: mental training, dance/artistry, injury prevention, and recovery protocols

Athlete Pathway:

  • Elite Canada, Canadian Championships, and international assignments
  • Selection for provincial teams, national camps, and Team Canada consideration
  • Post-secondary opportunities, including U.S. NCAA scholarships and Canadian varsity sport
