T&T Competitive Team
Tumbling and Trampoline (T&T) consists if 4 events; Tumbling, Double Mini Trampoline, Trampoline and Synchronized Trampoline. Our Sport of T&T has individual events this allows athletes to take some time in any level, on any event without slowing the progress in your athletes’ strongest event.
All T&T Team programs are designed to accelerate your athletes’ ability to learn and progress their skill level and to prepare for advancement. All Competitive requirements for Levels are set by Gymnastics Canada with small adjustments from Alberta Gymnastics Federation and athletes must meet the minimums to advance in Level. A tryout is necessary before being accepted into our program
This team requires a minimum age 10 and a minimum age of 16 for Senior Teams. Level 5 and up require a minimum of 16 hours per week, advancement through the national levels has requirements set by Gymnastics Canada for Score and Difficulty. National level athletes are eligible to make the Alberta Team to compete representing Alberta at Canadian Championships. The expectation for competing increase depending on each athletes event goals. On top of local Alberta Competitions 2 – 4 additional competitions Canada wide as well as an out of Country experience competition is required for advancement to Canadian Worlds Teams at various places around the world.
This team requires a minimum age of 8 to up. Level 1, 2, and 3 training hours range from 9-12 hours per week. Level 4 commitment does begin to increase 12-16 hours per week is required to maintain this level of Skill. Our goal is to advance athletes as per their personal goals on their own individual time. Our Provincials Team is offered 5-8 competitions per season, it is recommended to attend 2-4 of these competitions dependant on the athletes’ goals. The Level 3 and 4 Athletes are eligible to make the Alberta Westerns Team representing Alberta at the Canadian Western Championships.
Minis are 4 and 5 year olds and training 4 hrs per week
Flyers are 5 and 6 year olds and training 6 hrs per week
Warriors are Ages 7-11 and 12-16 and training 6 hrs per week
This sport of T&T requires a base of Strength, Flexibility, Balance and Agility. All Pegasus T&T Pre Team Programs are designed to accelerate an athletes learning and ability to advance their skill level. These basic foundations are taught through the use of gymnastic and trampoline equipment with our certified Coaches will prepare our athletes for our competitive teams.
