Instructional Gymnastics

Our artistic recreational gymnastics classes are for girls ages 6 years old and up. We strive to provide quality gymnastics by focusing on teaching proper techniques in all of our recreational programs. Our girl’s artistic gymnastic classes are developed to build the basic skills needed to progress to higher level skills and to provide athletes with the building blocks to work towards competitive level skills in a recreational environment.

Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Floor, Trampoline and Strength

Each class is structured around these events allowing the girls to develop the skills necessary to learn quality gymnastics at all levels.

Artistic Beginner​

6 years Old and up

9+ Years old and up

The Artistic Beginner class is a great starting point for those new to gymnastics, this class emphasizes coordination, strength, and confidence. Athletes develop fundamental skills, including bar supports and swings, locomotion and jumps on the balance beam, handstand preparations, and backward rolls on the floor, creating a solid base for progression.

Artistic Novice

6 years Old and up

Building on the foundations of the Beginner class, Artistic Novice focuses on refining technique while introducing new skills. Gymnasts will learn hurdles and handstand-to-back landings on vault, pullovers on bars, handstand preparations on the balance beam, and back bridge kickovers on the floor, all under the guidance of certified coaches.

Artistic Intermediate

7 years Old and up

The Artistic Intermediate class is perfect for gymnasts who have mastered the basics and are ready for more challenging skills. With a focus on strength and proper form, participants will work on front handsprings on vault, glide swings and long hang pullovers on bars, cartwheels on the balance beam, and back walkovers on the floor.

Artistic Advanced

8 years Old and up

The Advanced Artistic class is ideal for gymnasts seeking to master advanced skills without competing, the Artistic Advanced class focuses on technique, strength, and flexibility. Athletes attend twice weekly to build the necessary physical foundation for higher-level skills, including back walkovers on the balance beam, connecting low and high bars, and back handsprings on the floor.

Ongoing Tuition

Monthly Gymnastics

When enrolling in a gymnastics class, your initial payment covers the first month of classes and membership. Subsequent monthly tuition fees will be automatically processed on the 15th of each month. Tuition costs are calculated based on a 4-week month and will vary due to factors such as the number of classes offered in a month, due to the day of the week, the number of weeks in the month, blackout dates and statutory holidays. If you enroll after the 1st of the month, your tuition fee will be prorated for the remaining classes in the month.

Annual Membership

Pegasus Membership

All participants must have a current Pegasus Membership. The membership is annual, valid from July 1 to June 30 and includes insurance coverage through Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF). For the 2025-2026 season the membership cost is $68.57 + GST for each participant. Pegasus Memberships are non-refundable. Note that the price may change based on an increase in insurance premiums from AGF. If they do increase, there could be an additional fee.
